Panama Beyon the Canal - 6 Days

This tour includes a drive around “Panama Vieja,” the original city site founded by the Spanish and later sacked by the pirate Henry Morgan. Afterwards we will visit “Casco Antiguo” the walled Spanish colonial city of Panama built in 1673. Then on to Amador Causeway, which unites three islands at the Pacific entrance of the Panama Canal.

Day 1
Transfer from the airport to the hotel.

Day 2
Early morning, we’ll travel by canoe over the Chagres River and Visit the Embera Indians, You will get to know the culture, traditions and their handicraft. Also and you can enjoy of the exuberant rainforest, as well as take a shower in their waterfall to get to know their way of life and their dances.

Day 3
Visit the Gamboa Area and take the Aerial Tram, There you can enjoy a bird`s eye view of a thousand hues of green interspersed with the fluorescent exclamation points flowering trees, where we will admire the panoramic view of the Gamboa town, the Soberanía National Park and the Chagres River. At night, we are going to have some fun in a bus that is we’ll know as Chiva Parrandera; we are going to visit some discotheque and bars in this famous Bus.

Day 4
We will visit My Little Town (Mi Pueblito), where we’ll find replicas of the different ethnic groups that lived in our country during the construction of the Canal. Here we’ll find restaurants and handicraft stores. Then, we will trek to Ancon Hill, site of our National Flag, where we will observe flora and wildlife such as: deer, tamarin monkeys, agouti and others. We will visit the modern City and next Casco Viejo, the antique neighborhood of San Felipe with his colonial churches, and next visit the Miraflores Locks at the Panama Canal. In the evening, enjoy a Panamanian dinner and a folkloric dance show.

Day 5
Today .continue to El Valle and we are going to visit the Nìspero, and The Macho with it’s spectacular waterfall In this day we will visit nature and bird watching in a pristine rainforest and spectacular views .

Day 6
Transfer from the hotel to the airport.
