Two Ocean Diving - 11 Days

We will dive in the Panama Canal. You will have the opportunity to know the history of the construction of the Panama Canal, submerging in the Gatún lake water, then You will dive near the Portobelo bay, a famous city from where the gold and riches that came from South America was transported to Spain. It was a very attractive for pirate and corsair. Dive near where it is assumes to be the rests of Sir Francis Drake.

Day 1
Transfer from the airport to the hotel.

Day 2
You are going to visit Miraflores locks at the Panama Canal, the American bridge, the antique neighborhood of San Felipe with it’s colonials churches, the square of the vault, the modern Panama, Arco Chato and the Old Panama founded on August 15, 1519 by Pedrarias Davila. It was the first European settlement in the Pacific.

Day 3
We will dive in the Panama Canal. You will have the opportunity to know the history of the construction of the Panama Canal, submerging in the Gatún lake water and know about the first intent to build the Canal by the Frenchmen. You will hear the creak of the ship, in their daily travel in these waters.

Day 4
You will dive near the Portobelo bay, a famous city from where the gold and riches that came from South America was transported to Spain. It was a very attractive for pirate and corsair. Dive near where it is assumes to be the rests of Sir Francis Drake.

Day 5
You will travel to the Atlantic side of the Panama Isthmus, for diving very early in the morning, in the Portobelo Bay. Then we will travel to the Pacific side, take a boat that will carry us to Taboga, island of Flowers. In the Island the boat will wait to carry us to the Ocean Pacific diving place.

Day 6
Today, we departure to the islands of Bocas Del Toro, which is the essence and the mirror of Caribbean Panama. They are located in the extreme western part of the country, only 40 kilometers from the Republic of Costa Rica. This archipelago has the perfect combination of nature and historical and cultural traditions, with a charming variety of aquatic species, coral reefs, mangroves, tropical forest, beaches with crystal clear water, undisturbed jungles with all the flora and fauna you can imagine.

Day 7
We will visit the Isla Bastimentos marine National Park; we will see the coral reefs, the mangrove swamp, the nesting beaches and the lagoons to the south of the coast. The coral reefs make it an ideal place for diving; On the other hand, the lagoons offer the visitor the opportunity to see different species.

Day 8
In this day we are going to visit Zapatilla Island and Dolphin Island.

Day 9
In the morning we will visit Boca del Drago Island, with fabulous arc palm trees along the edge of the Caribbean sea, you can feel the wonder of this place, the minute you get there.

Day 10
Today, we leave Bocas Del Toro to return to Panama City, a long day journey.

Day 11
Transfer form the Airport to the Hotel.
